Run-Down-Your-Arm-Juicy is the only way we can describe this delicious fruit. Whether they are coming from South Carolina or Indiana we have our standards set high when it comes to fruit not grown on our farm. They are tree-ripened, hand-picked, and packed with great care.
Early Cling varieties are available beginning in mid-May. Freestone varieties are available from mid-June through early September. You can purchase these Sweet Juicy Peaches by the pound, basket or a half bushel, just make sure you have a napkin handy.
AVAILABILITY
Sweet and refreshing, our cantaloupes are the perfect summer snack. They’re low in calories and help keep you hydrated on hot summer days. Beginning in mid-May, we have Sweet Georgia Cantaloupe until homegrown ones are ripe and ready to harvest in early July.
To pick out the perfect cantaloupe, look for a nice yellow color on the rind and smell the stem: if there is a sweet fragrance, it’s ripe and ready to eat. If you’re not confident in your cantaloupe-picking skills, ask one of our Melon Specialists for help. They’ll be happy to assist.

When the summer heat sets in, the only thing that sounds good to eat is a watermelon. They are so sweet they could be considered a dessert. Our homegrown watermelon season is mid- July to September but we will have seedless varieties all season long.
To pick a watermelon that is ripe and ready to eat, thump it and listen for a hollow sound. Also, check for one that has a nice bright yellow spot on the bottom. Follow these tips and you'll be an expert at picking a sweet melon!

Nothing is more exciting than that first glimmer of bright red peeking through the fields in early Spring. After a long, cold winter, homegrown strawberries are always a welcome arrival. These delicious berries are perfect for pies, jams, and just plain eating.
Strawberry season goes by fast starting in mid-May and only lasting about 4 weeks, depending on mother nature of course. They are available at all locations when in season so when you see it on the sign do not wait!

A few new berries are growing on the farm and they are definitely making an impression. These raspberries are the perfect combination of sweet and tart. Mark your calendars, the harvest season for these delicious berries is in mid-June sporadically into July and possibly August.
There are so many ways to enjoy them: you can eat them fresh, put them in a smoothie, or add them to your favorite muffin mix. We prefer to use them to make one of our Grandma Sally’s famous raspberry pies. Find the recipe here!

Blackberries are an absolute delicacy in the heart of summer. They have numerous health benefits and make a flavorful, convenient snack. Blackberries have a reputation of being rather tart, but our homegrown blackberries are a different story; they are allowed to ripen fully on the vine, increasing their sugar content and giving them a burst of flavor like no other. So sweet, you’ll think you are eating candy.
Blackberry season begins in late June and ends in early August.

When it comes to healthy foods, blueberries are definitely at the top of the list. These tiny berries are filled with antioxidants and have a sweet flavor that will keep you coming back for more. We will have a steady supply of blueberries available at our farm markets from July through mid-August.
We have formed a new relationship with a blueberry grower in Michigan and they have proved to have excellent quality that aligns with our farm values. We look forward to their blueberries every season.

Apples are the star fruit of our fall season. Beginning in early September through the last day of our season.
We have so many different varieties available including Honeycrisp, Gala, Golden Delicious, and McIntosh, just to name a few.
We sell our apples by the pound and by the bushel. Crisp, sweet, and juicy, they make the perfect easy snack on a fall day and many delicious desserts.

Our sweet corn is known to be the sweetest you will ever eat! Beginning at the end of June, we handpick our sweet corn daily to make sure it gets to you within 3 hours of being picked.
We are famous for our Bi-Color ACES HIGH™ which is only available for a few weeks in the heart of the summer. Grilled, Boiled, Microwaved, or cut off in salad, our sweet corn is sure to please!

AVAILABILITY
Juicy and red right down to the center, they’re the perfect addition to your summer sandwich. We begin harvesting our homegrown tomatoes around July 1st. Until then, we offer exceptionally tasting Kentucky tomatoes.
Looking for low-acid options? We also grow yellow tomatoes that are a tad sweeter than our red ones. And don’t forget the green tomatoes! No summer is complete without a fried green tomato.

Grown from seed varieties that originated in the early 1900s, our heirloom tomatoes are the talk of the town due to their exceptional taste and interesting appearance. Heirloom varieties produce a wide range of flavors in a rainbow of colors. Perfect for adding some flare to your summertime salads.
We offer a range of varieties in July- September like Brandywine, Purple Cherokee, and Pineapple.
AVAILABILITY
If you’re a Do-It-Yourselfer, visit us for all your canning tomato needs. We have red round canning tomatoes good for salsa and juice and Roma tomatoes perfect for sauces and pastes.
We harvest our canning and Roma tomatoes in early August and sell them in 20-pound boxes, which is about half a bushel. Fill up your pantry with all the salsa, spaghetti sauce, and tomato juice you will need to eat homegrown and healthy all winter long.

Need a tasty side dish to go with dinner? Stop by the market to grab some fresh green beans. Southern green beans are available at the markets first of June until our homegrown beans are ready later in June and the first of July.
Stringless beans are easy to prepare: snap off the ends and they’re ready to cook. Our beans are sold by the pound and by the bushel for canning, so let’s get snappin’.

Like a Vidalia… but sweeter, so sweet they won't even make your eyes water! Homegrown Candy Onions are available starting in July until October.
In more limited availability we will also have Red Candy Onions during the season. If you have never had a candy onion before, we couldn't recommend it more! Grilled, sauteed, raw, or fried these onions are delicious!

Some like it hot! Some like it Sweet! Whatever your pepper cravings are, we can help. We grow green and red bell peppers, sweet banana, sweet snacker peppers, and jalapeňo peppers. These versatile vegetables are perfect for roasting, grilling, sauteing, stuffing, or just plain eating.
Purchase them by the pepper, peck, or bushel to add some sweetness and spice to your summer dishes.

Zucchini and Yellow Squash are the two varieties of summer squash we grow at the farm. Each year, they are the first of the homegrown vegetable season, ready to harvest in early June.
They may not be the showiest vegetable in the field, but they provide a great option for summer grilling or casseroles. They also pack a punch in terms of vitamins and nutrients. So grab some squash and a handful of fresh herbs and get cooking!

This nutrient-dense veggie is not only a superfood, but oh so delicious. We grow several for the spring and late fall. Broccoli is plentiful, grows beautifully and has a strong shelf life. It is so easy to cook and can be added to any dish to make your plat a little more colorful; steam, roast, sauté and enjoy!

ACES HIGH™ is usually ready around the 10th of July!
No, corn is not sold by the bushel. We sell corn by individual ears and by the dozen. We offer Party Bags that contain four Baker’s dozens (52 ears) which is very close to a bushel of corn.
It is best consumed within 2 days. The sweetness of sweet corn decreases and turns to starch over time. But when eating right away is not possible it is best stored in the husks in the refrigerator.
We are not certified organic. We are considered a conventional farm, but we use as many organic practices as possible. Sustainability is our goal, so we grow and care for our crops with that in mind.
Place hard peaches in a paper bag and let sit on the counter for a few days. Check them periodically for the desired softness. Once they become soft, they should be eaten or placed in the refrigerator.
No, our tomatoes are not hot-house. They are grown in High Tunnel greenhouses.
Tomatoes have additional costs to get them ready early in the year. They also have an outstanding taste that cannot be matched by the grocery store.
Yes, we sell canning tomatoes. Customers can place orders at the markets for multiple boxes of canning tomatoes.
Look for a gold/yellow tint, a lot of netting, and a strong cantaloupe smell from the stem.
Knock for a hollow sound, look for a yellow belly, and look for a strong contrast between light and dark stripes.
All produce is guaranteed! if you are not satisfied with your produce, return to the market and we will provide new products for you. You do not need to bring the product you were unhappy with back to the market.
